METU Conference on International Relations

Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of International Relations calls for proposals for pre-organised panels, roundtables and individual papers for its tenth METU Conference on International Relations to be held between June 15-17, 2011 in Ankara, Turkey.

Keynote Speech and Invited Speakers

Conference keynote speech will be given by Kees van der Pijl from the University of Sussex, UK. Other invited speakers include Michael Barnett (The George Washington University, USA), Kayhan Barzegar (Tahran University, Iran), Chris Brown (London School of Economics, UK), Cynthia Enloe (Clarke University, Massachussets, USA), Siba N'Zatioula Grovogui (Johns Hopkins University, USA), John Hobson (University of Sheffield, UK), Michael Kreile (Berlin Humboldt University, Germany), Friedrich Kratochwil (European University, Italy), Ravi Palat (Binghamton University, USA), Miranda Schreurs (Free University, Germany), and Jan Zielonka (Oxford University, UK).

Information about the SPECTRUM JOURNAL

SPECTRUM Journal of Global Studies is a journal initiated and run by the students of the Department of International Relations of the Middle East Technical University. The aim of our journal is to become one of the leading and highly reputed journals in the field of international relations. Our annual conferences have now become an important annual event with increasing participation ever year. Until our Journal gets a firm hold in the international relations community, we are encouraging the participants that come to our Conference to publish their presentations in our Journal and not to commit them to any other source. Our editorial committee will contact individual participants during the conference about the possibility of publishing their papers in the journal. We request your full support.
