BEGINNING FROM 2008-2009 FALL SEMESTER, THOSE WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED THEIR REGISTRATION IN THE “REGISTRATIONS AND ADVISOR APPROVALS” PERIOD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER IN THE ADD-DROP PERIOD!
11th article of the regulations was changed as below according to the 2008/7-1 numbered decision of the University Senate on April 22, 2008.
“… Students are supposed to renew their registration each semester within the registration period announced in the Academic Calendar. Registration renewal is composed of during the processes below:
In case of one of these processes is incomplete, the student will stay in “not-registered” status. The students who have not completed their registration in the Registration period will not be able to register in the Add-drop period. These not-registered students can apply to the Administrative Committee of the relevant unit until the last day of the Add-drop period (they should also indicate and prove their excuse) for a registration renewal. Those whose excuses are accepted by the Administrative Committee allowed to renew their registration; and others, whose excuses are not accepted, will stay not-registered and lose their student status. The ones who have lost their student status due to incomplete registration may be allowed to register for the next semester by the decision of the Administrative Committee of the relevant unit, for only once, with the condition of the payment of tuition fee of the not-registered semester with fine. In such a case, the lost period in the not-registered semester is counted for the education period.” Therefore, the students who will renew their registration for 2008-2009 Fall Semester must complete their registration on September 15-17, 2008. Otherwise, they will stay not-registered and lose their student status.
2008-2009/1. DÖNEMİNDEN İTİBAREN
“KAYITLAR VE DANIŞMAN ONAYLARI” DÖNEMİNDE KAYDINI TAMAMLAMAYAN ÖĞRENCİLER DERS EKLEME-BIRAKMA DÖNEMİNDE KAYIT YAPAMAYACAK… Üniversite Senatosu’nun 22 Nisan 2008 tarih ve 2008/7-1 sayılı kararı ile ODTÜ Öğrenci Kayıt Kabul İşleri Yönetmeliği 11. maddesi aşağıdaki şekilde değiştirildi. “… Öğrenciler her dönem, Akademik Takvimde ilan edilen kayıt döneminde kayıtlarını kendileri yenilemekle yükümlüdür. Kayıt yenileme aşağıdaki işlemlerden oluşur:
Bu işlemlerden birini eksik yapan öğrenci kayıtsız kalır. Kayıt döneminde kayıt sürecini tamamlamayan öğrenci Ders Ekleme-Bırakma döneminde kayıt yapamaz. Bu durumda olanlar gerekçelerini belirterek ve belgeleyerek ilgili birimin Yönetim Kuruluna en geç Ders Ekleme-Bırakma süresi bitimine kadar başvurur. Mazereti ilgili birimin Yönetim Kurulunca uygun görülen öğrencinin kaydı yenilenebilir. Mazereti ilgili birimin Yönetim Kurulu’nca uygun görülmeyen öğrenci kayıtsız duruma düşer, öğrencilik statüsünü kaybeder. Kayıt sürecini tamamlamadığı için öğrencilik statüsünü kaybeden öğrenciler, bir defaya mahsus olmak üzere ve ilgili birimin Yönetim Kurulu kararı ile ertesi dönem için, kayıt yaptırmadığı döneme ait katkı payını gecikme faizi ile ödeyerek, kayıt yaptırabilir. Bu şekilde kayıt yaptıran öğrencinin, kayıt yaptırmadığı dönemde kaybettiği süre öğrenim süresinden sayılır…” Bu nedenle 2008-2009/ 1. döneminde kayıt yenileyecek olan öğrencilerimizin 15-17 Eylül 2008 tarihlerinde mutlaka kayıt işlemlerini tamamlamaları gerekmektedir. Aksi takdirde kayıtsız durumda kalarak öğrenci statüsünü kaybedeceklerdir. |
