Course Objective Building on the fundamental concepts and issues dealt in the first semester, the course aims to acquaint the students with the legal reasoning in international relations by studying issues such as the “the subjects of international law,” “sovereignty and jurisdiction,” “peaceful settlement of disputes,” “use of force,” “international water law,” and “international human rights.” Even though the basic approach of the course is mainly normative, by referring the case materials, the course discussions will also incorporate the analyses of socio-political interactions and their impact on the normative framework of international relations.
