Course Content The main purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the environmental issues and the legal dynamics of the response given by the humanity to this problem either at regional or global levels. Concerning the question of efficiency and adequacy of the international regulatory processes in prevention and restitution of environmental problems, the underlying concepts, principles and techniques, the role of international, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, the methods of enforcement, the application of the reformulated doctrine of state responsibility and liability will be discussed within the context of existing international structures.
